In 2018-2019, Ajax stole the hearts of football fans across the world with its epic Champions League campaign. After successfully qualifying for the 2019-2020 tournament, the Amsterdam club wanted to thank fans with a global campaign as part of its ‘For the future’ brand positioning.
Four stars of the team shared a full-page ad in newspapers of their home countries, thanking fans for their support and asking them to follow them once again on a new journey.
A global reach of more than 18 million football fans, particularly in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the US. There was also a lot of buzz on social and other online channels.
